  4. Lassi Lassi is a blend of yogurt, water, spices and

    sometimes, fruit. Traditional lassi (a.k.a., "salted lassi", or simply, "lassi")
  5. Tandoori Chicken Tandoori chicken is a popular Indian dish consisting

    of roasted chicken prepared with yogurt and spices. The name comes from the type of cylindrical clay oven, a tandoor, in which the dish is traditionally prepared
  6. Parantha Paratha (Paranthas are usually stuffed with boiled potatoes (as

    in aloo ka parantha), leaf vegetables, radishes, cauliflower, and/or paneer (Cottage-cheese))
  7. Dal Bati Rajasthani food is incomplete without the mention of

    the famed Dal-Baati-Churma. It consists of baatis or flaky round breads baked over firewood.! ! The dal is cooked with ghee, the masalas in the dal are fried in ghee and more ghee is mixed into the dal before serving
  8. Dhokla Dhokla or Dhokra is a vegetarian food item that

    originates from the Indian state of Gujarat. It is made with a fermented batter derived from rice and chickpea splits.
  9. Vada pav Vada pav, sometimes spelled wada pav or vada

    paav, is a popular spicy vegetarian fast food dish native to the Indian state of Maharashtra

  11. Mysore Pak Mysore pak is a sweet dish of Karnataka,

    usually served as dessert. It originated in Karnataka. It is made of generous amounts of ghee (clarified butter), sugar and gram flour.
  12. Idali Idli is a very common South Indian Breakfast and

    is healthy. It is made from a fermented batter of rice and lentils. Idili is usually served with Hot Chutneys (Chammanthi) and Sambar
  13. Dosai Dosa, also called Chatamari in Newari, is a fermented

    crepe or pancake made from rice batter and black lentils.
  14. Hyderabadi biryani The ingredients are Basmati, mutton, yogurt, onions, spices,

    lemon, saffron. Coriander leaves and fried onions are used as garnish. Although the preferred meat is mutton, it is replaced by goat or chicken in some variations.
  15. Rosogulla Rosogulla is a cheese-based, syrupy dessert popular in the

    Indian subcontinent, particularly in the Indian states of Odisha and West Bengal
