The new era of JS (Applications)
a quick story
None
None
Dinosaurs.
None
things are changing no more dinosaurs
Not just for Apps take bits and apply them to
your work
Common Sense. Do you have it?

"web app" don't let this put you off
every web site is a web app (sort of) controversial?
have a kitten and a puppy
what can I do to make my job easier?
maybe I could write tests easily verify your entire app
is working? yes please.
perhaps I could use AMD to modularise my app and
manage dependencies
maybe Backbone would be useful to provide structure and organisation
to my spaghetti like jQuery
perhaps I could use Grunt minifying my JS (etc) manually
through [insert app here] sucks
Yeoman can generate code for me creating new project structures
and files is mundane
go play with tools pick ones you like do things
your way that work for you
don't worry about all the "new stuff" people chat about
on Twitter
if it works for you then that's all you need
go forth and make awesome
