THE SUCCESSFUL TEACHER COACH, how to measure your progress

A rubric is a framework that sets out criteria and standards for different levels of performance and describes what performance would look like at each. The more specific the indicators the easier to follow.

The EESDP (Ministry of Education and Sports-Laos and Asian Development Bank) shifts its In-service Training from the usual cascade model to more direct, cluster-school based mentoring/coaching.

This tool (rubric) was developed with the EESDP-RIES CHEMISTRY TEAM Mentors/Coaches during the pilot run on November 4-8, 2024, In Luang Prabang, Lao PDR during the de-briefing facilitated by EESDP’s JOEL WAYNE GANIBE (ICT/Assessment/Teacher Development Expert) who later refined it with Team Leader, Dr. Bernadette V. Gonzales, and Ajan Khamphanh PHIMSIPASOM into this final version.
