https://www.iwsec.org/css/2026/program.html?20260908#3C1

BlackHat USA Arsenal: MachStealer: One Pipeline Behind Every macOS Infostealer

GitHub: https://github.com/ultra-supara/MachStealer
BlackHat: https://blackhat.com/us-26/arsenal/schedule/index.html#machstealerone-pipeline-behind-every-macos-infostealer-52134
video: https://youtu.be/mzyQ9-8qsFg

macOS infostealers are the fastest-growing malware category on Apple platforms, with a 400% year-over-year increase in detections. AMOS, Poseidon, Banshee, Cthulhu, and Cuckoo all follow the same credential harvesting pipeline, Keychain extraction, PBKDF2 key derivation, SQLite database copy, and AES decryption. Understanding one family's harvesting stage reveals the mechanics of them all.

MachStealer is an open-source PoC tool for macOS Apple Silicon that reproduces this shared pipeline for security research. It implements the complete Chrome credential extraction chain with parameters matching Chromium's source code exactly.

Feature Overview
- Cookies: session tokens and auth cookies, AES-128-CBC encrypted
- Login Data: saved usernames and passwords, AES-128-CBC encrypted
- Credit Cards: card numbers, expiration dates, and cardholder names, AES-128-CBC encrypted
- History: URLs, titles, and visit frequency, unencrypted
- Extensions: installed extensions with version and store metadata, unencrypted

MachStealer deliberately omits the exfiltration layer: no C2, no network upload, no persistence, no anti-analysis evasion. By isolating the local harvesting stage, the tool serves as a safe, transparent model for defenders to validate EDR detection, develop behavioral signatures, and assess credential exposure risk. MachStealer also enumerates all Chrome profiles on the system with display names and associated email addresses, reproducing the profile iteration behavior of real infostealers.

DEFCON34 DEMOLABS: sisakulint: CI-Friendly static linter with autofix, SAST, semantic analysis for GitHub Actions

https://sisaku-security.github.io/lint/
https://github.com/sisaku-security/sisakulint

GitHub Actions workflows are vulnerable by default. Hardening such as commit-hash pinning, least-privilege permissions, and timeouts is optional, never enforced at pipeline level. Exploitable configs ship daily, increasingly written by Coding Agents. sisakulint is a fast heuristic static analyzer for GitHub Actions covering all OWASP Top 10 CI/CD risks, with 52 rules, a taint engine, and 38+ auto-fixes. It outpaces CodeQL on speed and quality, with 100% detection on 18 GHSL advisories and 81.6% on 38 GHSAs covering exploits in PX4-Autopilot, vets-api, weaviate, nrwl/nx.

Impostor Commit at CVSS 9.8 validates pinned SHAs against the claimed repository, not impostors via Git forks, a check unique to sisakulint. Code Injection at CVSS 9.8 tracks untrusted input through ${{ }} and step outputs. AI Action Rules detect Clinejection on claude-code-action, copilot-swe-agent, and openai-actions, covering tool grants, prompt injection, and wildcard triggers, as in Cline 2026/02 where issue title injection stole NPM_RELEASE_TOKEN. Known Vulnerable Actions catches tj-actions/changed-files.

In the Coding Agent era, linters matter more. Delegating 52 rules to an LLM degrades precision; deterministic engines run in ms with no variance. The session covers end-to-end detection, taint propagation, and automated remediation.

BlackHat Asia 2025 Arsenal Slides: sisakulint - CI-Friendly static linter with SAST, semantic analysis for GitHub Actions

link : https://www.blackhat.com/asia-25/arsenal/schedule/#sisakulint---ci-friendly-static-linter-with-sast-semantic-analysis-for-github-actions-43229

In recent years, attacks targeting the Web Application Platform have been increasing rapidly.
sisakulint is a static and fast SAST for GitHub Actions. This great tool can automatically validate yaml files according to the guidelines in the security-related documentation provided by GitHub! It also includes functionality as a static analysis tool that can check the policies of the guidelines that should be set for use in each organization. These checks also comply with the Top 10 CI/CD Security Risks (https://owasp.org/www-project-top-10-ci-cd-security-risks/) provided by OWASP. It implements most of the functions that can automatically check whether a workflow (https://docs.github.com/ja/actions/security-for-github-actions/security-guides/security-hardening-for-github-actions ) that meets the security features supported by github has been built to reduce the risk of malicious code being injected into the CI/CD pipeline or credentials such as tokens being stolen. It does not support inspections that cannot be expressed in YAML and "repository level settings" that can be set by GitHub organization administrators.
It is intended to be used mainly by software developers and security personnel at user companies who work in blue teams. It is easy to introduce because it can be installed from brew.
It also implements an autofix function for errors related to security features as a lint.
It supports the SARIF format, which is the output format for static analysis. This allows Review Dog to provide a rich UI for error triage on GitHub.
