Containers, public cloud, and private cloud are already widely adopted as compelling deployment models for traditional IT applications and services, but each of these also deserves consideration as a viable option for deploying and managing high-performance, clustered applications and workloads.
In this webinar, John Corne, Senior Pre-sales Engineer at Bright Computing, examined the complex issues that customers face when dealing with cluster and cloud management, and explained how to benefit from a single management framework for HPC, Big Data and Cloud offered by Bright.
It began with a deep dive into the state of cluster management, and talk about the difficulties that HPC, Big Data cluster and OpenStack cloud administrators face when deploying and delivering clustered and cloud-based IT infrastructure.
Next, evaluated different solutions available on the market, and discussed the solutions that Bright has to offer to solve these issues. We took a look the architecture starting with managing hardware from bare metal, provisioning, control plane and elastic workloads for HPC, Big Data, and private cloud.
The webinar covered virtualised environments, cluster on demand or as a service, and cloud bursting to the public cloud. It will also include demonstrations for HPC, Big Data and OpenStack, and the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
