Qiang Zhang (AI Engineer at Cougar)
In his masters course at Kyoto University, he worked with the Riken-AIP in Human-AI communication research group. His research is about using story envisioning to visualize common ground in human daily conversation. While in university,built the story envisioning framework TSEiA which can be used to convert stories into interactive dramas and presented "TSEiA" as a dissertation at the international conference. Apart from this, he has also participated in various other projects including software designing and development. He joined Cougar as an AI engineer after receiving his masters degree from Kyoto University. At Cougar, he is one of the development members working on AI based "Virtual Human Agent (VHA)". Currently, he is developing algorithms for enabling the VHA to have natural conversation with human beings.
