Nick Dolbin has established a respected career in law enforcement through years of dedicated service, leadership, and professional growth. With more than 16 years of experience, he currently serves as the Chief of the Timberlake Police Department, overseeing public safety operations and community engagement. Known for his strong judgment, attention to detail, and composure under pressure, he has earned recognition from colleagues, agencies, and community organizations throughout Ohio. Nick developed a broad foundation in public safety by serving in multiple roles across policing and emergency communications. His experience includes work as a patrol officer, supervisor, instructor, and member of the command staff. As a former 911 Operations Supervisor for Cuyahoga County, he managed critical emergency communication functions involving thousands of daily calls. His responsibilities included coordinating emergency responses, supporting first responders, monitoring communications systems, and ensuring efficient operations during high-pressure situations. Nick also served with several police agencies throughout Ohio, gaining valuable experience in patrol operations, investigations, training, and administration. His service includes positions with the East Cleveland Police Department, Geneva on the Lake Police Department, Amsterdam Police Department, MetroHealth Police Department, and Timberlake Police Department. Throughout these assignments, he became known for his leadership abilities, dedication to officer development, and commitment to maintaining high professional standards. Nick has received numerous honors recognizing his performance and contributions to public safety. Among his achievements are awards for Rookie of the Year, Top Drug Buster, Top Traffic Enforcement, Top OVI Enforcement, and Top Seat Belt Enforcement. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Labor Relations from Cleveland State University and completed police academy training in both Ohio and Florida. He also pursued executive leadership studies at Ashland University. His certifications include Crisis Intervention Training, Emergency Medical Dispatch, Communications Training Officer, Field Training Officer, firearms instruction, background investigations, and Taser instruction.
