Next, we're going to talk about the job expectations. We talked about the specific tasks that we want
that person to get done, and how much money the job involves. Now we're looking at what do we
actually expect from this person? And this is going to help us determine whether or not we found the
right person. This is like our litmus test for like, is this a good match or not a good match? First thing to
think about the must haves, what are the things that are required that this person must have in order to
qualify for this job. So for example, if you're trying to find someone to pick up your kid, and bring them
home every Thursday after practice, things that they must have would be like a valid driver's license,
they, they have to be a safe driver, things that are like, non negotiable they must have, then we
wouldn't go into the things that are nice to have. Well, I would like them to be driving for a longer
amount of time, like maybe I prefer a college student, but I would be okay with a high school student
who's not as experienced, like understanding where you're are your nice to have.

So sometimes we think that things are really like must happen, when really they're a nice to have. And
the other way around, too, is sometimes we're like, Oh, that would be nice. And then we realize, oh, no,
that is a requirement. I didn't even think about how safe of a driver they aren't No, no, they have to be a
safe driver. It depends on your personality, what you need, and you want to work out kind of like Where
where are the things that I have to have, and where are the things that would be nice to have, this is
going to also work into their experience level, and also your budget, all of these things are going to
come into play together of what it is that you expect out of that person. These must have a nice to have
things also include things like like their personality, their values, depending on how much responsibility
this person has within you, your life or your company. Like those pieces of like just what kind of person
they are, may matter a lot. If it's something that you're you know, somebody or just hiring one time, you
might not care what their personality is like, depends on the project on the actual job that you're
needing them to do. What do they as a person match you, your family, what you need your business.
This is a like one of those fine, more of like an art than a science kind of a thing where some of this will
be involved in your gut, like does this person match what I need?
