ESL Brains 5 Read the short descriptions of three guessing games. Then, answer the questions. ● Have you played any of these games? ● Which of these games do you like? Which one would you prefer to play? ● Do you know any other guessing games like these? Charades A person acts out a word using their hands and their body. They aren’t allowed to speak! Other players try to guess the word. Pictionary A person draws a picture without speaking. Other players try to guess the word, based on the drawing. Hangman A player thinks of a word and draws a line for each letter of the word. The other players guess letters. If a guessed letter is in the word, it is written on its line. If a letter is not in the word, part of a stick figure is drawn. The players must guess the word before the drawing is complete.
