Setting Up Your Space
Choosing the Right Spot
Whether you’re on a balcony or a small patio, the first step is to choose the right spot for your
hibachi grill. Make sure it’s on a flat surface away from overhanging branches or any flammable
materials. Safety first, folks! We don’t want your barbecue turning into a fire drill.
If you’re grilling on a balcony, check your building's rules. Some places have strict regulations

Grilling Accessories for Small Spaces
To maximize your grilling experience, you’ll need a few essential accessories:
● Compact Utensils: Look for a set that includes a spatula, tongs, and a grill brush.
Bonus points if they have a built-in bottle opener. Because what’s grilling without a cold

● Cooler: Keep your drinks cold and your food fresh. A portable cooler can be a lifesaver
during hot days. Just remember to bring the ice—nobody likes warm soda!

items that cook quickly and can be easily managed on a small grill. Here are some ideas:
● Skewers: These are your best friend. Thread some chicken, veggies, or shrimp onto
skewers for easy cooking and flipping. Plus, they look fancy, and who doesn’t want to
impress their friends?
● Burgers and Hot Dogs: Classic choices that never disappoint! Just remember, if
someone asks for a “well-done” burger, you might as well throw it in the trash—no one
wants to chew on a hockey puck!
● Grilled Veggies: Bell peppers, zucchini, and corn are excellent choices. They add color
to your plate and are healthy options. Bonus: they also help balance out all those hot
