April 9, 2014 TECH CENTERS PROJECTS •  Creating BFB apps to solve enterprise problems •  Supporting the Alliances Team by porting and testing Android apps for key brands •  Designing and developing BFB apps for key brands in partnership with Alliances •  Working with gaming companies on porting mobile games to BlackBerry 10 •  Creating tools for developers to increase their productivity •  Hosting BlackBerry Dev Group Meetings •  Hosting BlackBerry 10 training sessions at their labs •  Teaching BlackBerry 10 development on Computer Science classes

April 9, 2014 TECH CENTERS RESULTS •  35 BFB apps developed by all 4 Tech Centers, with average rating over 4 points. 8 of them are 5 star applications (9 more apps currently being developed) •  Key Android apps ported (and tested) by the Tech Centers, including Banco do Brasil (biggest bank in Brazil), Asana, Avianca, GOL Mobile (airline), HSBC Token, HSBC Mobile, Placar Magazine, Santander Empresa, Santander Minha Conta, Santander Token and Veja Magazine (one of the most important magazines in Brazil) •  Designed and developed the GUI tool for WebWorks 2.0, working closely with the WebWorks team in Canada (weekly calls and issue solving via github and irc) •  In just one month, 146 Brazilian games ported to BlackBerry 10 and 228 Brazilian gaming companies now registered, with ongoing discussions and collaboration

April 9, 2014 TECH CENTERS RESULTS •  One “Android to BlackBerry 10” converter developed in September •  Worked with the WebPlatform.org team to create samples, collaborating with Adobe, W3C and BlackBerry •  Developed GAP for AIR and HTML5, where the GUI reduced in 80% the development time for AIR and HTML5 developers targeting BlackBerry 10 •  Developed over 55 Amazon AWS APIs for the BlackBerry 10 platform •  1 BlackBerry Open Day for end users was organized and delivered in Recife •  3 Hackathons and 15 workshops took place in all 4 Tech Centers •  12 tech conferences had sessions delivered by Tech Center members
