ARI Confidential ❒ 核融合反應的種類 19 ◈ 慣性局限融合(ICF：Inertial Confinement Fusion) ➩ 高能量雷射脈衝使氘和氚燃料球達到極高的溫度和壓力引發核融合反應。 ➩ 使用192束高能量雷射光束，射向氘氚燃料球的「環空器(Hohlhraum)」。 ➩ 環空器是圓筒形器皿，頭尾兩端開孔，內壁塗有黃金等特殊塗層。 ➩ 科學家將燃料球裝在環空器內加壓，從環空器兩端孔洞射入雷射。 ➩ 加熱特殊塗層到高溫輻射出強烈的X射線，輻射燃料球外層產生爆裂。 ➩ 反作用力會以震波形式向內部傳播，使內部氘氚元素形成高壓高溫燃燒。 ➩ 導致內爆能量和物質快速對稱向內聚合，並連鎖觸發融合反應。 ➩ 過程時間只約百萬分之一秒尺寸也很小，環空器內模擬出一顆微小恆星。
