Signs You Might Need a Root Canal
● Acute Dental Pain: Continuous discomfort, particularly when biting
down or exerting force.
● Hot and Cold Precautions: Pain experienced after eating or
drinking hot or cold substances.
● Gum Inflammation: Presence of red, swollen or painful gums
surrounding the affected tooth.
● Dental Abscess: A small localized area of pus on the gums, exuding
sometimes.
● Discolored Tooth: Tooth which turns blackish or gray colored due to
inflammation.
● Tooth chips or cracks: Injury to the tooth associated with
penetration of bacteria into the pulp cavity.
● Intermittent Pain: Constant feeling of uneasiness that increases as
time progresses.
