SPEECH RECOGNITION: SPEECH RECOGNITION IS A TECHNOLOGY, WHICH ALLOWS CONTROL OF MACHINES BY VOICE IN THE FORM OF ISOLATED OR CONNECTED WORD SEQUENCES. IT INVOLVES THE RECOGNITION AND UNDERSTANDING OF SPOKEN LANGUAGE BY MACHINE. SPEECH RECOGNITION IS A TECHNOLOGY THAT ABLE A COMPUTER TO CAPTURE THE WORDS SPOKEN BY A HUMAN WITH A HELP OF MICROPHONE. IT EVALUATE THE PERFORMANCE OF DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES MEL FREQUENCY CEPSTRAL COEFFICIENTS (MFCC),PERCEPTUAL LINEAR PREDICITION COEFFICIENTS(PLP),AND PERCEPTUAL LINEAR COEFFICIENTS(PLC). 

 Speech synthesis:  Text-To-Speech (TTS) is a technology that converts a written text into human understandable voice. A TTS synthesizer is a computer based system that can be able to read any text aloud that is given through standard input devices. The Text to Speech service understands text and natural language to generate synthesized audio output complete with appropriate cadence and intonation. Natural Language Processing (NLP) and then using Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology to convert this processed text into synthesized speech representation of the text. Here, we developed a useful text-to-speech synthesizer in the form of a simple application that converts inputted text into synthesized speech and reads out to the user which can then be saved as an .wav file .
