Slide 4 text

Brain  Brain is like a central computer for nervous system. It receives messages from different parts of the body and then tells the body, how to react

Slide 5

Slide 5 text

Cerebrum  The biggest part of the brain is the cerebrum. It is responsible for intelligence, memory, personality, emotion, speech and ability to feel and move

Slide 6

Slide 6 text

Cerebellum  The smaller part is the cerebellum, controlling balance, movement and coordination. It is responsible for taking in, sending out messages And also it controls breathing, heart rate and digestion

Slide 7

Thalamus and hypothalamus  The thalamus carries messages from the sensory organs, like eyes, ears, nose and fingers to the cerebrum. And hypothalamus controls body temperature and appetite.

Slide 8

Neurons  This nerve cells are like long thin threads with fingers, called dendrites, at each end. When a neuron is stimulated, by heat, touch or sound it actually generates a tiny electrical signal. This signal passes from one neuron to another until the message reaches the brain
