Self - Assessment (Critique) Huge work done and would not have been possible without a teamwork and good communication. Learned a great deal of CS techniques and troubleshooting and applied them. One of the best and useful CS Elements classes, leaving us with a portfolio. -> Well done ○ Weekly meetings and communication over Discord ○ All parts of the project completed and work smoothly ○ Mastered back-end Flask and front-end React-Bootstrap ○ Parsing XMLs and JSONs -> Could be better ○ Connectivity between backend-frontend-GCP (pain!) ○ More accommodative design for higher range of screen sizes ○ Implement cross-model search and different filtering options ○ Implement more APIs to add pictures and mythology for the models

Assessment on Team 11 project https://seeholidaze.me/ -> Takeaways The website’s models are connecting holidays in different countries and their dates. You can choose a country and view the holidays or just pick a date by the provided calendar. -> Well done ○ Interesting non-generic project idea ○ Clean Design! ○ Good Search ○ Good idea to browse a calendar -> Could be better ○ Duplicates (e.g slightly different names, labour day, worker’s day) ○ Shifted dates or mistyping of the holiday ○ Not mentioned if it’s a day off ○ White bands of flags are “disappearing”
