What is Echo-Sense
Background
● Echo-Sense is an open source sensor data analysis
platform built by Echo-Mobile for deployment on the
Google Cloud
● Echo-Mobile runs a platform which facilitates the
collection of data using Mobile first technologies eg
SMS, USSD, IVR and Android.
● With these Echo-Mobile realized a few problems.

Terminology
*Sensor Object that can detect and relay changes to an environment it is part
of .
*Target Asset being tracked. Eg Vehicle, Water tank, Oil pipe etc.
*Group A collection of sensors that have a common target
*Rules Conditions to be met for an alarm to be fired
*Alarm A notification that a given set of environmental parameters have
been met.
