PRODUKTION PÅ EN LOKAL OCH EN GLOBAL NIVÅ Att bygga på en av världens bästa odlingsmarker ställer saker på sin spets både på en global och på en lokal nivå. Hur mat- och energiproduktion hänger ihop med stadsutveckling är för många ett diffust och abstrakt förhållande. På en global nivå är energi och livsmedelsproduktionen en avgörande fråga, inte minst för klimatförändringar. Lokalt har både staden och lan- det sin krav och förväntningar på utvecklingen. Vi vill i detta projekt hitta intressanta och rimliga lösningar på globala och lokala utmaningar. MÖTE MELLAN STAD OCH LAND LEVANDE HISTORIA Historia kan inte bevaras, den kan inte återskapas, den kan bara leva vidare och förändras - eller förloras. De historiska kvalitéerna används aktivt och integre- ras med stadens funktioner och skapar kontiunuitet. Kilometrar med alléer planteras, gårdar restaureras och ges nya funktioner, åkerstycken brukas, nedlagda järnvägsspår fortsätter fram, tegindelningar som levt i arkivalier sedan hundratals år markeras åter på kartan. Vi kan låta historien följa med och bli till när nutidspunkten ständigt rör sig framåt i tiden.
