Basic Fruit Pie
5 cups of mashed-up fruit
add 2 cups of sweetener and a
squidge of lemon or lime juice
put into a pie shell
top with 4 pats of butter
affix pastry top (if desired)
Bake for 30 minutes in a 425F
oven
Slide a cookie sheet under pie
plate, drop oven temp to 350F
and cook for 30 minutes more
Take out of oven and cool for
10-15 minutes on a wire rack
(15-20 min if you don’t have a
wire rack)
Put in your face
