1. Improper Stance  One of the most common mistakes is having an incorrect stance. Ensure your feet are shoulder-width apart, with your body facing the target squarely.  Avoid leaning too far forward or backward, as it can throw off your balance and accuracy.

2. Gripping the Bow Incorrectly.  Many archers grip the bow too tightly, which can cause torque and affect the arrow's flight path.  Instead, use a relaxed grip, allowing the bow to rest naturally in your hand. Your fingers should be relaxed, with minimal tension.

3. Inconsistent Anchor Point  Consistency is key in archery, and having an inconsistent anchor point can lead to erratic shots.  Find a comfortable and repeatable anchor point, such as the corner of your mouth or chin, and ensure you consistently reach it with each shot.

4. Overdrawing or Under drawing  Drawing the bowstring too far back or not far enough can impact your shot's power and accuracy.  Practice drawing the bowstring to the same anchor point each time, ensuring you achieve a consistent draw length.
