User Experience Design User Experience (UX) involves a person's emotions and attitudes about using a particular product, system or service. Aspects covered: • practical • experiential • affective • meaningful • valuable • utility, ease of use and efficiency

Current UXD Frameworks Create efficient, fast and desirable experiences for users of products and services. But in doing so, it ignores the significant role it should play in acting as a change agent and an ‘early warning system’ that is truly centered on human values and the mattering of people instead of, as it does today, greatly contribute to the current consumerist society by crafting experiences that just help sell products and services.

 Dealing with transition can produce fear, resistance, and anxiety. As a result, many organizations are retreating from the future. Speaking about urban planning, for example, Isserman (1986) writes that, “We have lost sight of the future… creating increasingly feeble, myopic, degenerate frameworks that are more likely to react to yesterday’s events than to prepare the way from here to the future.”  The effects are habitual blind spots in many modern organizations, making it difficult to discuss or even think about issues of critical change.
