THINGS TO AVOID
• Provide some time to warm up to the ideas and for mutual ownership.
• Don't be rude, abrupt, or too fast-paced in your delivery.
• Don't fail to follow through. If you say you're going to do something, do it.
• Don't rush into business or the agenda; provide some time to break the ice.
• Don't be domineering or demanding.
• If you disagree don't let it reflect on others personally, and don't let it affect the
relationship.
