Amur leopards live in the forests
of Far Eastern Russia, with extreme
cold and deep snow in winter, as
well as hot summers.
They are found in Southwest
Primorye in the Russian Far East,
and in North East China.
With a wild population of less than
40 individuals, the Far Eastern
leopard is critically endangered and
this is mostly as a result of human
activities.
