Aside from the responsive aspect of the project, I want to also talk about a couple of the biggest things I learned working on the project in terms
of it being such a large scale architecture.
For me personally, it was what it was like working on a build of such a massive scale.
So before working on Good Food, I’d been a web developer for around 7 years, and had been lucky enough to work on some great projects, but in
all due respect to the size of those projects, the size was nothing in terms of the traffic and profile that BBC Good Food is. I mean, I mentioned it
to one of my best friends at the time, and I distinctly remember her saying to me ‘whatever you do, don’t mess it up, because I use that site all the
time’.
So, I think for the first few days after I knew I would be working on the project, if I could visualise my thoughts they would probably have looked
