With limited resources and vast creativity, the Motives for La La Pop Up! was a huge success in sales and brand awareness.

The Pop Up Shop saw over 1000 shoppers in its 5 hour launch, selling close to $2,500 in product with a $33 average for each purchase.

Shoppers with limited knowledge of the Motives Cosmetics line were able to experience the product firsthand with professional makeup artist’s tour guiding them through their purchases.

The Pop Up Shop boasted a young savvy retail experience with innovative product displays which went hand and hand with our “Pop Up” theme.

Motives branded director’s chairs were placed inside the storefront window so onlookers and passersby could witness the amazing makeovers and transformations taking place. This spectacle created such excitement and energy, the line was soon out the door with patrons anxiously awaiting their turn, leading to a steady rise in sales

The atmosphere promoted the perfect sales generating environment for the shoppers who were greeted with Motives branded cocktails and cupcakes while a DJ spun the latest tunes. Esthetically it was a sight to see.

The launch was heavily attended by major media outlets and beauty and fashion bloggers resulting in an overwhelming amount of press.

Moving forward, as the shop continues, the salon will host 2 more intimate events focusing on the “individual” and catering to their makeup needs, all while planting seeds in potential distributors. Along with the social media push and one to one marketing we feel we will be able to move a substantial amount of product through the life of the Pop Up Shop. Popping Up in the next city, the Motives Pop Up team seeks to continue the development of the new product distribution outlet, giving us a formula to be duplicated city to city. Capitalizing on the success of the Atlanta launch and its seamless operation, it’s our charge to top ourselves!
