The Correct answer is B! Taking the middle line maximises the radius of the corner which allows us to travel at the highest possible speed. (C is correct in some occasions as rubber builds up on the racing line during a race making that part of the track, however in our model we assumed that the track had the same co-efficient of friction at all points on its surface).
