UKRI defines commercialisation as : the process by which new or improved technologies, products, processes and services are brought to market. Increased demand = more support to develop ideas & case studies (ASPECT with SUCCESS; ISCF Healthy Ageing Catalysts with ZINC) Universities looking across all disciplines = need to support professional administrators, contracts, department heads, supervisors etc Capturing the true value: challenge our current approach focussed on income return and job creation Broaden the investor potential = need to understand the opportunities for social investment Inclusive definition = broaden opportunities IP potential unlocked = need to understand IP for the social sciences Insights into what works = more research and evaluation to inform us all
