Ask for Help Prepare - Structure - Listening - Gratitude Prepare beforehand and show your effort • Document and present your thought process, what you've tried, and any error messages or challenges encountered. Be specific and use a structured approach • Make sure the help you ask for is specific. This will increase the likelihood that your needs get met. Engage in active listening and summarize the findings • Seek guidance on how to approach the problem and pay attention on the details provided (clarification and confirmation). Take notes and document the next steps. Express gratitude and do a follow-up • A simple "thank you" goes a long way. After implementing the solution, follow up with your colleague to let them know the outcome. Asking for help is a normal part of the learning process 😉

Continuous Learning Use the Power of “Not Yet” Model curiosity ▪ How can I be more curious about this? Can I run an experiment? ▪ What have I learned about this? What have I learned about myself? ▪ Curiosity assessment > https://nowwhat.com/curiosity Focus on facts, not feelings ▪ Recognize that thoughts aren’t facts – validate your assumptions ▪ Take time to celebrate, keep track of your successes & received positive feedback ▪ Change the perspective (alter-ego, mentor) - it is not your voice; it is your fears Give yourself permission to make mistakes ▪ Everyone starts at ZERO so give yourself permission to be a beginner, to feel stupid, to make mistakes ▪ Courage comes first, confidence is what you build overtime. Focus on your strengths ▪ Self-compassion instead of self-criticism
