About Me 4 ● Over thirty years in the tech industry - almost exclusively with free and open source tech deployments into banking, healthcare, transportation etc. ● Early user of ARPAnet - mid 1980s. ● Free and Open Source Software Contributor/User/Advocate/Educator. ● Inducted into the Council of Outstanding Early Career Engineers, College of Engineering, Oregon State University. ● Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore & the Singapore Computer Society ● Ambassador, Software Heritage. ● Head of Singapore Delegation to the ISO/IEC JTC1. ● Deployed to Banda Aceh, Indonesia, as Dy Commander of Ops Lion Heart of the Singapore Civil Defence Force in response to the Indian Ocean Tsunami 2004.
