He spent the majority of the year away from the spotlight while undergoing chemotherapy.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; Although it's not known what kind of cancer Alex had at the time, he continued to raise money for sarcoma charity organizations and revealed in December that he had undergone surgery to remove an arm tumor.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; In a video that was uploaded to Technoblade's YouTube channel this morning with the title "So long nerds," his father who is not known revealed the devastating news of his son's passing with his numerous fans as well as a posthumous message of condolence from the famous YouTube star.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; He described his son as "the most incredible child" and shared an audio recording of his son. He stated that if he had another hundred lives, he'd choose to be Technoblade again because those were the most memorable times of my life.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; YouTuber and Minecraft streamer Technoblade, 23, has died following a year-long battle with cancer, his family has revealed&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; Technoblade was a highly private person who was not known to share his personal information. He mostly uploaded videos on the Sandbox game Minecraft.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; He had three younger sisters and an older brother named Chris and a dog named Floof which was in his final video with his father.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; In one video, he explained that his parents divorced, and he lived with his father, who owns a movie studio.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; After graduating from high school, he took a gap year before moving to Chicago to study English.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; Bags of fun! Lorraine Kelly leads toasts to...&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; After quitting, he returned to San Francisco.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; He explains in one of his videos, how he started the Tecnoblade channel to build confidence and get 10 million subscribers.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; He quickly grew millions of followers, sharing with them multiple clips of him playing Minecraft, although he never revealed his face or name to his fans.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; He revealed the shocking news of his cancer diagnosis in August in a YouTube video called "Where I've Been" that has been viewed over 13 million times.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; In the video, he revealed to viewers that he was diagnosed with cancer following a thought there was an injury to his arm in the last few days of July, my right arm started to hurt quite a lot.'&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; The content creator (seen at left), who was not revealing his name or identity prior to when his final video was posted was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; He believed it was a stress injury from his gaming habits, and took some time off before realizing it wasn’t going to go away.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
