Roman Vintfeld

Three areas of work run through the professional life of Roman Vintfeld: sales and marketing in financial services, the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to business operations, and humanitarian response. A New York-based business executive, Roman Vintfeld is also known in parts of his professional record as Roman Vinfield.

Financial services is where much of his career has taken place. Roman Vinfield has experience in business and consumer lending, merchant cash advance, payment processing, wealth management, mortgages, credit services, and debt consolidation. When he entered the financial technology sector, he brought a background in digital marketing, lead acquisition, and enterprise sales systems. The common purpose across that work has been building and scaling sales and marketing organizations.

His interest in artificial intelligence took practical form inside his own business. Operating a merchant cash advance company, Roman Vinfield adopted Conversica's AI sales assistant technology and lowered his customer acquisition costs by 85 percent. From that result, he recognized a problem common to direct lenders and brokerages: ensuring that each lead received consistent and persistent follow-up. He founded AI Assist to extend that approach to the wider financial services market, and Roman Vinfield served as the company's President beginning in 2016.

In partnership with Conversica, AI Assist launched the Conversica AI Sales Assistant for financial services. The service targeted alternative finance companies, merchant cash advance lenders and brokers, mortgage lenders and brokers, merchant processors, equipment leasers, debt consolidators, and student loan providers. Its job was to follow up on leads and incomplete funding applications automatically, respond when customers replied, and alert a salesperson when a prospect was ready to go further. Roman Vinfield was a speaker at B2B LeadsCon in New York in August 2017.

The same technologies now sit at the center of his supply chain work. Since 2023, Roman Vintfeld has been Chief Executive Officer of BrainChain.AI, a company that applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to supply chain management and logistics. Its stated goals are to reduce supply chain disruption, increase efficiency, and help companies deliver commodities to global brands and governments. The focus on AI and machine learning that shaped his lending and sales career is, in this role, applied to the movement of goods.

Beyond the companies he founded or led in technology, Roman Vinfield has held senior revenue and executive roles. In 2020, he joined WeShield, an organization founded by entrepreneurs to provide aid to frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, as Chief Revenue Officer, and he later became Chief Executive Officer. During his time at WeShield, the company was ranked No. 53 on the Inc. 5000 list. Today he is the Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Powerus.

Outside commerce, Roman Vintfeld has devoted his professional experience to humanitarian causes. He is a co-founder of Worldwide Friends, a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) emergency response organization that provides aid to people affected by international conflicts. With his wife, Danielle Vintfeld, he co-founded Ukraine Friends, a humanitarian mission that operates under the Worldwide Friends 501(c)(3) and brings several organizations together to provide aid and equipment delivery, evacuation services, and ambulance support to the people of Ukraine in response to Russian aggression.

The organization states that the Ukraine Friends mission has delivered more than 30,000 individual first aid kits, more than 50,000 wound kits, more than 10,000 children's travel and hygiene kits, 1,200 train kits, more than 60 mobile surgery kits, and 23 ambulances, and has housed more than 10,000 refugees. Its efforts have supported the evacuation of more than 30,000 people since the war began.
