So who is Jesus talking about – the Jewish people. Q: Was the man looking for the treasure? Q: Did the purchase of the field cost a lot?

Parable of The Pearl of Great Price Q: Was this man searching for the pearl? -Yes – it was his job / his life. Q: So what does that teach us? (One found on accident and the other on purpose) Q: Did the seller of the pearl understand its’ value? Q: Did the pearl cost a lot?

Delight We see that after giving all – these men are able to delight in their purchase. Same – we can delight in God all the days of our lives. Remember the “Chief End of Man?” (Why God made us) = to Glorify Him and Delight in Him Forever. Ps 37:4 “Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart”
