Slide 10

Slide 10 text

+ How Does this Story Point to and Teach Us About the Gospel?  Shows us that a sacrifice will be needed for sin.  Shows that we will not have to sacrifice, but God will provide the sacrifice for us.  Shows that the son will be willing to sacrifice himself (Jesus).  Shows that a loving father will have to do it – even though it will be painful and difficult.  Shows that not Abraham, but God’s future sacrifice of his Son, Jesus, will save us.
