RESPOND PHASE 2 NEIGHBORHOODS 23:47 TIME LEFT SCRIPT: RESPOND PHASE OK, I think it’s time to get started! Welcome everyone to Extreme Event, by the Koshland Science Museum. For tonight, the Museum has been transformed into Coastal City, a town where we all live, at least for the next two hours. This game was developed in collaboration with experts and staff of the Resilience Project here at the National Research Council. We’re extremely grateful for your participation and look forward to hearing your feedback at the end of the evening. We’ve been developing and testing this game since October of last year and are in the final stages of its development before we add in a new digital component. So, thank you for your participation in our ongoing testing efforts! Now I’ll turn it over to our Chief Resilience Officer of Coastal City who will get us started and keep us on our toes. We’re extremely grateful for your participation and look forward to hearing your feedback at the end of the evening.
