(2024/10/01 final update) Aoba-BBT (formerly Business Breakthrough) was established in 1998 with the aim of building an intellectual platform for continuous learning, enabling business professionals to stay up to date in the rapidly changing business paradigms of the 21st century. Our company is committed to its mission of "nurturing global leaders," primarily through online education, supporting both companies and individuals who aspire to create new value on a global stage. In this process, we have pioneered various initiatives to position ourselves as leaders, such as launching the world's first 24-hour business education CS broadcasting station (BBT757ch), developing our own online learning system (AirCampus®), and establishing Business Breakthrough University—the first 100% online university in Japan accredited by the Ministry of Education (offering both MBA and undergraduate programs). These initiatives have become the cornerstone of our current "Recurrent Education" segment. Since 2013, we have expanded our platform to include international schools for learners aged 1 to 18. This "Platform Service" segment has grown to account for approximately half of our company’s sales and operating profit. Now, as we approach the quarter-century mark since our founding, we see this moment as the start of our second chapter, where we continue to pursue innovation in education every day.
