Provision für Käufer The Executive Decree No. 722 of October 15, 2020, created the category of Qualified Investor. The visa grants permanent residence in the country and can be requested by foreigners who invest the minimum sum between US$500,00.00 and US$750,000.00 (from foreign source). Foreigners, through their attorneys, may initiate the residency application process without necessarily having entered the country, with the commitment that once the Applicant arrives in Panamanian territory, completes the affiliation process to be able to issue any Migration Identity card.
