the nightmare energy oozing out of the ball
overtakes the screen and we enter the nightmare

we have entered the animated nightmare. the perspective is zany,
as if we are looking through a fish-eye lens up at Mbappe; we can
see the soles of his shoe as his runs, the blue cleats contrasting
Note to the animators: I'm trying to emulate a dolly-zoom with the
next few shots, which is when you zoom and change focal length at
the same time (also called the vertigo effect). This shot is set
up to look like its shot with a wide lens, with a large focal
length- a lot of the background is in frame, objects at different
distances from the camera are significantly different sizes, and
so on.

Action Notes
As KM reaches the center circle, he shifts his
center of weight as he prepares to surge
forward; each step is so powerful, it leaves a
crater in his wake.
The cameras focal length decreases in
anticipation of mbappes burst of speed. depth
of field becomes less wide, so the characters
appear farther apart from each other
horizontally, but there's less size change
between them so they look as if theyre getting
closer.

Action Notes
As KM surges forward, the camera becomes an
ultra-wide lens, aka a fisheye lens; the ground
wraps around the screen showing more of the
background, and the characters and objects
behind him cluster together, and all appear
extremely far away. he starts to look very
distorted.
