Waiter • Interest: Cycling, Cooking, Culture and history, trying new things, volleyball. • Past work experience: Programming Internship at Konica Minolta (it was a lot about education but I can't say much because I signed an NDA), English teacher(we can study for the TOEFL or TOEIC together), Cleaning staff (I will help keep the lab clean!) • One fun thing I like to do is to break things down into really small pieces so that they're manageable, then put them back together again.
Part 1 - I want to make AI systems that help tech illiterate people and/or help people use technology more efficiently. - Nowadays, innovations are happening really fast and there is still a big number of the population, especially older people, that don't know how to use technology. - Even younger people might only know a few functions or a few ways to use technology, and even not even efficiently. - How one person understands and uses technology, let's say even with a phone, is vastly different from one another. However, most technology will stay the same and not adapt to how the user would like to use it. It would even be more difficult to customize it personally if the user is tech illiterate.
Part 2 - There isn't a lot of personalization, especially from the system side. The user has to change it to their needs or modify their own behavior to meet the requirements of using the system. - Instead of relying on context that is manually added (like in ChatGPT) or specific instructions(specialized GPTs), the system should be able to adapt to each user over time by learning their behavior patterns or intentions. - If a system like this is created, not only would it help with tech literacy problems among the older generations, it could bring better user satisfaction and higher productivity due to the personalization of functions.
