In a post-apocalyptic world, Cassie and Will survived the great mist, a ultra viral infection responsible for creation of zombie like creatures known as "Boomers" that ravage the lands. Now in the aftermath, Cassie continues to train the young Will in preparation for the possible resurgence of the great mist.
