more than 3 years • I’ve worked as a web developer in one of the pioneer tech company in Ethiopia, CNET Software Technologies • Then I joined Adludio for my current roll, Machine Learning Engineer • I have expertise in Python, JS, C#, SQL and so on • Of all the projects I have done, my favorite one is the ‘smart electric wheelchair which can climb up stairs’ (it was my thesis) • I have also participated in an international research program for students - I worked on automated drip irrigation system, worked with various sensors and electrical components.
common to see AI being integrated to smart systems. • Sensors can generate vast amount of data and the data can be used to train a model make systems even smarter • I believe I can benefit from this trend since I have a good background in ML • I am particularly interested in a project that can improve the agricultural industry - I could work in depth on the irrigation project and integrate more components to make the tasks easy. For example, I can add a robot to detect rotten crops.
aim to pursue a career in either industry or academia, depending on the opportunities available • I prefer staying in academia for a while conducting more research and bring solutions for the community
