BIOGRAPHY [ INSERT ARTIST PHOTO ] Sandy Beales is a gifted musical director, musician and social influencer who’s worked with megastars One Direction and James Arthur, and stars such as Mabel, JP Cooper, Olly Murs, Scouting For Girls, Clean Bandit, Years & Years, Mae Muller, Caity Baiser and Dylan. Touring with One Direction throughout their career saw Sandy travel across the world on huge stadium tours playing to over 8 million fans. Then, following One Direction’s hiatus, Sandy began touring and performing with JP Cooper, joining him on his worldwide tours and performing in several of his videos. In 2019, Sandy joined Mabel (Brit Awards Best Female Solo Artist) for her Radio 1 Live Lounge appearance and 2020 saw him record with Wheatus prior to the re-release of their self-titled album. Most recently, Sandy has worked as Musical Director for Caity Baiser and Dylan, and performed with artists such as Olly Murs, Scouting for Girls and Years & Years. Sandy’s TV experience is also extensive, having performed and appeared on international prime time TV shows such as Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, Good Morning America and The X-Factor. A genuine technical authority, Sandy is also an in-demand masterclass clinician, working globally with students and institutions at every level, and has been a featured artist in industry publications such as Bassist magazine and Bass Guitar Magazine. As a key social influencer with around a million followers, Sandy has worked on campaigns with global brands that include ESPN, National Geographic, Fender, Jaguar, Cadbury and The Telegraph.
