10. (Keep sobbing)
18. (Footsteps approach)
19. (Footsteps stop)
20. (Both gasp)
21. “What... Weren’t you...”
22. “Supposed to be dead?!”
23. “Supposed to be dead?!”
24. “I was, but I’m doing better than ever-”
25. “thanks for asking.”
26. “McGonahan! It’s you!”
27. “You monster!”
28. “Voilà!-”
29. “you seem to have recovered quite well, my darling Audrey.”
30. “Your angry face is beautiful as usual-”
31. “Wait- how is this possible?”
32. “Oh, it’s very simple. An apprentice’s pretty trick.”
33. “Have you ever seen this thing?”
34. “I would prefer you keep it in your pocket.”
35. “Perhaps through the chest? How about it?”
36. “Agh!- ”
38. “What did he do?!”
39. “I think I understand.”
40. “Hahahaha...”
42. “You understand..?
43. “Wa-Wait!”
46. (Sobbing)
47. (Sobbing stops)
48. “This is a retractable blade. I found it at a Sherlock Holmes exhibition.”
49. “I used this to perform my little comedy this morning-”
50. “I only need to put some blood on it.”
51. “You even went to examine your companion’s corpse-”
52. “just to find out if murderer was hiding among them...”
53. “but you never thought to check my corpse!”
54. “So you can continue to commit crimes-”
55. “making sure no one ever discovers your identity…”
56. “just like in the-”
57. “ ‘And Then There Were None.’ ”
58. “You’ve been mistaken, Audrey.”
59. “It wasn’t me who hunted you down.”
60. “No? Then what’s your purpose?!”
61. “That’s to protect myself! I’m not guilty.”
62. “Directing my death is the best way to get rid of muderer.”
63. “I did this to save my life. You will think that I was killed by one of my colleagus in chaos.”
64. “I’m sure there’s more than one person to kill.”
65. “So I waited for the hitman to act...but the one waiting in the shadows was me.”
66. “Waiting in the shadow? I don’t understand!”
67. “Oh, of course! You’re so clever, aren’t you? Huh?”
68. “Go on with your little act. But you both know the truth.”
69. “I suspected you right from the start. But I keep going back and-”
70. “forth between two of you.”
71. “You, Oscar, too innocent, too well behaved, made you dishonest. One accident after another, and yet you stood out like a sore thumb--quite unnaturally so, for a boy of your age.”
72. “As for you Audrey, you never fooled me. The costumes, the stories, the bogus ‘journalist’ routine... that’s why I was unsure at first--and then I realized.”
73. “Realize what?”
74. “Not one killer... but two.”
75. “What a pair of schemers… Oscar and Audrey!”
