  1. Introduction  Recruitment is not just about hiring people rather

    it is hiring the right people.  Recruitment is a very essential part of any industry.  Hence, doing it with the right strategies and ways helps to do it in a much more effective manner with less effort.  In the following slides, I have mentioned various points which can cover some of these ways.
  2. Using various job portals  The recruiters and the organizations

    can post various job and internship openings on different portals like Internshala, LinkedIn, Indeed.com, Monster, etc.  Since, we all know that almost all the people including students, freshers, experienced as well, look for the vacancies on these portals because they show all the openings in a consolidated manner.  Hence, this method is very much effective in recruitment.
  3. Using referrals of existing employees  The companies or startups

    can get the right candidates from the referrals of their current employees.  This is a very effective method because a person who is working in a particular organization knows its code of conduct, policies, and working structure.  This is why he/she will always choose the most appropriate candidate for the company.
  4. Careers page of the organization’s website  The careers page

    of any organization is a very important tool for the recruiter.  He/she can post the job vacancies in a systematic way there so that the candidates can apply easily.  Now, this thing is effective because, whenever a person goes to any company’s website, and after opening the careers page, he/she finds all the details systematically written, it will be very easy for him/her to choose the opening according to his/her capabilities and apply quickly.
  5. Improving the company’s culture to attract the best talent 

    All the above points are related to the techniques which can be used for recruitment.  But to make this process much more effective, the recruiters should first make their company’s policies and cultures to attract the best of the best people out there.  As we all know, if a candidate is quite good in his/her domain, he/she will definitely go to a company which is giving him/her more benefits like better perks, better salary, better working conditions, etc.
  6. Marketing and Promotion  This step is very prominent not

    only in recruitment but almost in every other thing.  Hence, the recruiters should pay great attention to this factor, it can be a game-changer.  If the marketing is done strategically, then there is a huge chance of getting the applications of various good candidates who can fill the vacancies.  Recruiters should advertise their company and the vacancies in the most effective manner to attract talents.
