Vitor tries to stay on his toes to see, but he’s too Camera: -Medium-wide and over- the-shoulder shot Rosa sees the fire jaguar cub spirit walking in circles, crying and afraid. Camera: -Diagonal pan to the bottom right -Medium-close shot Rosa speaks with Vitor, who listens with attention and a serious face while nodding.He is holding a jaguar plushie. Camera: -Medium, over-the-shoul- der shot Fire jaguar cub cries while looking the opposite way Rosa and Vitor are approaching. Rosa is holding Vitor’s hand while guiding him. Camera: -Pan down when Rosa kneels Jaguar cub looks in a skittish way at them. Rosa keels while Vitor looks at the cub from behind his mom. Camera: -Medium shot Vitor walks in front of his mom and shows the jaguar cub his jag- uar plushie, while looking nervous. Rosa: Sometimes, people become lost... like in a big and dense forest, but it’s their own heart. It happens when they are full of anger, sadness, and loneliness. short. 2. Camera: -Close shot with slight fol- low when the cub moves its head Fire jaguar cub caresses the plushie on Vitor’s hand with its head while purrs. Camera: -Medium-close shot Rosa puts her hand around Vitor’s shoulder. The jaguar cub bows its head towards them while the plushie starts to float around its tail. Camera: -Close shot With her hand over Vitor’s, Rosa uses her power that makes magical roots, thorns and roses appear all over her body with a pink energy. While Vitor’s CAMERA: Pan up Camera: -Pan up following the cub’s levitation -Medium-wide shot -Low-angle shot Fire spirit jaguar cub levi- tates and starts increasingly glowing. Camera: -High-angle shot -Slow zoom out Light particles float around the cavern, making a dim light. Vitor raises his hand as if to touch them. Camera: -Medium-close shot Gigi hugs Vitor from the side, while they both seem determined Camera: -Medium-close shot -Slight pan left to right Gigi sitting in front of Vitor explains the book to him, but Vitor appears nervous and with difficulty to learn. Camera: -Medium-wide shot Gigi walks in front of the Vitor, who is left behind as if paralyzed. Camera: -Zoom out and sudden pan down to next shot Vitor extends his hand, as if to try and reach Gigi. Camera: -Medium-wide shot Vitor stares at the test, nervously. Student extras already begun their tests. Camera: -Medium-wide shot -Pan left to right once he turns the page. 4. Camera: -Wide shot -Pan down Vitor stares and is stared at by the pratical test evaluators. In the center, just the Director is more “real”, the others have eyes for heads from Vitor’s perspective. Camera: -Medium-wide shot Vitor takes a few steps back, extremely nervous and staggering. Camera: -Medium-close -Following the movement of his fall Vitor ends up tripping over his own steps and falling. Camera: -Medium-close, with Vitor on the foreground. Vitor is clinging to his pillow while his parents are at the door. Rose leans over at the doorframe with arms crossed and worried. Peôni puts their hand on Rosa’s shoulder and heads into Vitor’s room. Camera: -Zoom out and sudden pan down to next shot Peôni while talking an gesturing with their hand. they are sitting at the end of Vitor’s bed, looking at him. Vitor, still holding his pillow, looks at Peôni with a surprised expression. Vitor: I am... a failure... Peôni: What if I told you was there is another way in the Academy? Dsssantos
5. Camera: -Wide shot -Slight pan right to left Vitor standing looking at the Penumbra Institution plaque in the entrance while the other students walk by while talking to each other. Camera: -Medium-close shot -Pan left to right when Vitor turns his head, then simple cut Vitor turns a little towards back to see his new group mates. (Petra and Lira). Camera: -Medium shot with lady on the foreground -Pan right to left then sim- ple cut Vitor is beign “attacked” by cat spirits that want food while a former mystic laughs. Camera: -Medium-close shot Sol pulls Vitor’s hand towards him to write on it with a permanent mark- er (after Vitor extended his hand). Camera: -Medium-wide shot Sol walks down the hallway and Vitor looks at him before looking down at his own hand. Camera: -Close shot -Simple cut Vitor looks at his hand and stares, seeing that it is written “03:00 PM” (15:00 horas) with permanent marker. Peôni: Go to Penumbra, get your magical lisence and go do the trials! Peôni: Make new friends! Help people! Peôni: How does that sounds? Sol: Here, give me your hand. Sol: See you after class. 7. Camera: -Medium-wide Vitor runs onto the scene then he stops and turns around. Camera: -Medium-wide -Simple cut One-legged aquatic arm ant attacks Vitor from the upper left diagonal. Vitor dodges by jumping backwards. Camera: -Medium-wide, low angle shot -Simple cut Vitor falls almost to his knees and looks up, seeing the ant water spirit that approaches him. Camera: -Medium-close, high angle shot -Pan to the upper right diagonal Shadow of the spirit increases over Vitor, while he looks desperate and splashes of water fall on him Camera: -Close shot -Zoom in Vitor takes a deep breath while the roots of his magic grow all over his body. Camera: -Medium-close, low angle shot -Simple cut Vitor crouches down and touches the ground, making a circular movement with your left arm. Soon after, he advances running. Vitor: It’s just... harder than I thought it would be for me. Y’know? Dsssantos
8. Camera: -Medium shot -Simple cut Sol and Vitor are walking around road and talking. Sol is pushing his bicycle. Camera: -Close shot -Simple cut Vitor turns his head while he pulls his backpack so that it doesn’t fall. He talks a little distressed while keeps walking Camera: -Close shot -Simple cut Sol turns to face Vitor, with an empathetic expression, while continuing to walk. Camera: -Medium-close, low angle shot -Simple cut Sol turns around and stares at Vitor, who stops too. Sol is trying not to look nervous as he suggests helping Vitor to study for his exams. It’s afternoon on the scene. Camera: -Medium-wide shot -Simple cut Sol and Vitor are in a clearing at night when they make their promise, shaking hands while illuminated by the 3 moons. Camera: -Medium-wide -Zoom out The magic of Vitor and Sol unite, making a mini “explosion” of lights that circles most of the moons. This makes a “wind” that lifts Vitor’s hair and almost pushes Sol’s cap, who holds it. Sol: So... what are you going to do? Just give up? Vitor: No! I- Vitor: ... I just don’t know what to do. Sol: I think... I could help you study. Sol: Soooo... what about a deal? Dsssantos
9. Camera: -Medium-wide shot -Pan left to right Vitor and Sol are in a canoe. Sol is reading a book and Vitor is sitting in front with an angry face. Sun passes by a page and Vitor keeps tapping his foot while the boat sails. Camera: -Medium-wide shot -Slight shaky cam Sol and Vitor flee from the ant spirit of water on a forest. Sol looks back a little bit while he runs. Camera: -Medium-wid, high angle shot -Simple cut Sol and Vitor walk while they eat ice cream with two other friends, Petra and Lira (Vitor has a milkshake). Lira, in a playful way, try to touch Vitor with his watermelon popsicle. Vitor laughs while avoiding it. Camera: -Close shot -Simple cut Vitor is “holding” a butterfly spirit that shines. Sun looks at the butterfly and then looks at Vitor. Camera: -Medium, high angle shot -Slow pan up Sol and Vitor lying down and admiring the sky and some peaceful spirits during the late afternoon. Camera: -Close shot -Fade to black at the end Vitor tries to put his hand on Sol’s, slowly and hesitantly. END. Vitor: That sounds more like a promisse. Vitor: Yeah, sure. Dsssantos
