viewings allow individuals to examine art pieces for research or personal purposes. However, it is often the case online art exhibits don’t encompass a museum's entire collection. Furthermore, the connections to other museums are not easily found due to museums' lack of coordination. The Artworks project attempts to remedy the lack of complete and intra-museum connections by curating data from multiple museums and modeling their relationships in an easy to navigate the environment. The goal is to allow individuals to easily connect an artist to their work no matter what museum it may be displayed at. Additionally, we want to provide art-goers an easier method to search through a large amount of art data. If an individual views an artwork while visiting a museum and decides they like that artist, Artworks can be used to find more artwork by that artist in several museums. Additionally, we hope to expose curious potentially inexperienced art goers to new artworks, artists, and museums. Ultimately, this can advise individuals on where to visit and what to expect at each museum. This project was developed in Spring 2020 in Dr. Fraij's software engineering course.
