Technical leadership is a set of behaviors that can increase the execution of individuals and teams. Technical leadership is a posture one takes during daily interactions. Technical leadership is required at all levels of the company and is the key to delivering fanatical outcomes for our customers.

Whether you realize it or not, you are a technical leader. Leaders are not just those who have been designated as such. There are behaviors we can all exhibit to help each other grow and deliver higher quality outcomes. These behaviors enhance team performance by increasing motivation and innovation.

This talk is not about how to get your next position or whether you chose to enter a management track. This talk is about how you will continue to become a technical leader by recognizing the behaviors in yourself and others. This talk will empower Rackers of all levels to take a more active role in technical leadership leading to higher delivery and execution throughout Rackspace.
