Heat removal from car cabin using sustainable energy • Design a heat control system to remove heat from car cabin based on electric input from solar energy. • Microcontroller was programmed to monitor the temperature and humidity from sensors and to control air conditioning unit • Prototype model was designed in the CAD software: Solid edge 3. Optimization of the effectiveness of a fin by varying geometry • Design optimization of the effectiveness of a fin by varying geometrical properties of a 100-Watt electronic heat sink by using MATLAB • Optimization method uses the Genetic Algorithm (GA) to search, combine and optimize the geometry of the fin 4. Two-way pump for magnetic refrigeration • Designed, programmed MCU and manufactured two-way pump, in which fluid motion can reverse it direction after specific time interval 5.   2. Research Experience 3 Final Year Project: Solar energy assessment in

    Pakistan Renewable energy resource assessment using six different reanalysis datasets (NECP-DOE, NCEP-CFSR, NASA- MERRA, NASA-MERRA-2, ERA-Interim and ERA-5) and surface measurements (Provided by Energy Sector Management Assistance Program of the World Bank) for different climatic conditions for Punjab, Pakistan under the supervision of Professor Muhammad Asim in “Renewable Energy Lab” ✓ First objective was to evaluate six different generations datasets having different temporal and spatial resolution using high quality measured data for three stations having different climatic conditions using statistical analysis. ✓ Second objective was to evaluate the performance of the latest versions of datasets under different sky conditions (clear-sky, intermediate-sky, and cloudy-sky). Statistical and regression analysis between measured and estimated clearness index was performed. ✓ Third objective was to develop bias correction method based on the clearness index to improve the accuracy of the solar radiation. ❑ Our research has identified the best performing reanalysis dataset and bias correction model which can be used to correct long-term time series of solar radiation data for accurate resource assessment to develop economic and technical feasibility of future solar projects in Pakistan such as the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park, the first photovoltaic power station in Pakistan with a capacity of 1000 MW Publications 1.
