but a traveller said that, within a 100 days, an ointment made from the blood of a Golden-Headed Fish could save his sight. The prince and his men went to catch the fish and were successful. However, a 100 days had already passed, and the prince released the fish, knowing that killing the fish would be a waste anyways. With no evidence to show the prince’s efforts, the king order his execution. Thankfully, servants warned the queen, and she helped the prince by supplying him the clothing of commoners along with gold. He was given a warning to not hire anyone who wanted to be paid by the month, and eventually took in a man who wished to be paid by the year. Along a series of misadventures from an island to another neighboring kingdom, the prince’s servant secretly helped boost the prince’s reputation no matter where they went. When the prince’s father died and he succeeded the throne, the servant told the former prince that he must leave him. While the new king wanted to repay the servant for all he had done, the servant refused, because he had been repaying the prince for sparing his life as the Golden-Headed Fish.
