An Evening with MongoDB- San Diego 2012: Building Mobile Apps with HTML5 and MongoDB

Max Katz, Tiggzi
Mobile app development is moving toward a client-cloud paradigm, with a thin client built using HTML5 plus libraries for device services (e.g. PhoneGap) and connected to the cloud via REST API services. MongoDB can easily and powerfully provide the needed database back-end. In this interactive session attendees will learn how to build an HTML5 mobile app connected via REST API to a MongoDB back-end.
Max Katz (http://mkblog.exadel.com) heads Developer Relations for Tiggzi, a cloud-based HTML5, jQuery Mobile and PhoneGap mobile app builder created by Exadel.
