    the power that brands and products hold in enriching our lives, and I have experienced the dramatic expansion of e-commerce, which has underpinned their growing popularity. The world is also home to countless companies that continue to make excellent products, for which I am convinced hold the potential to expand globally through the power of digital technology. MOON-X was founded to bring these kinds of ideas that I have learned, together with the power of technology and the wonder of manufacturing, to introduce amazing brands and products to the world. As a brand portfolio company that possesses multiple beloved brands, I believe that MOON-X's raison d'etre is the sum total of the abundant lifestyles that these brands create. I also value the idea of nurturing the next-generation of leaders in the hope that the people I have met here will grow beyond me to drive Japan and the world forward. I have pride in my colleagues, and I intend to devote my energy to helping them, as well as those who will join us in the future, make great strides. What started as an endeavor in a room of a friend's house has grown into a home for a diverse range of talent and passion. Yet our challenge has only just begun.     Team Representative Director / CEO Shin Hasegawa Director Takashi Watanabe Mr. Hasegawa spent his childhood in the United States. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Kyoto University. He managed a number of brands at P&G, including Pampers, Gillette, Braun, and SK-II. He oversaw marketing at Rakuten in Japan and abroad as a senior executive officer. After serving as representative director at Facebook Japan, he co-founded MOON-X in 2019. After graduating from university, Mr. Enya  engaged in the development of various systems and internet services as a full stack engineer. He took charge of advertising, AdTech, and Big Data domains at Rakuten in 2008, and participated in the launch of Rakuten's Asia headquarters and overseas development team in 2012. He co-founded Apérza and became its CTO in 2016. He co-founded MOON-X in 2019. Mr. Watanabe started his career at an education company in 1999, where he oversaw administration. He joined Rakuten in 2007, helping business development and PMI initiatives. He joined the launch of Rakuten Asia in Singapore in 2012 and was appointed COO in 2016. In 2020, he served as a Director of the Ecosystem and CEO of a professional baseball team in Taiwan, before joining MOON-X in 2022.

    ZOOM Video Regardless of title or age, every employee at MOON-X uses nicknames, and all of our business units communicate openly on Slack. We use weekly reports to share challenges and achievements, and our monthly TGIF! meeting allows everyone to connect online for information exchange and deeper interaction. Accelerated Growth through Learning Onboarding MOON-X Academy Study Groups Our group-wide new employee orientations are a vital opportunity for new hires to connect with the MOON-X's purpose and share their personal values. These sessions also feature displays for employees to experience and deepen their understanding of our diverse portfolio of brands and products. With his wealth of experience, our CEO Mr. Hasegawa attends as a lecturer to convey core concepts that can be applied to everyday tasks, including: “Three things you can do starting tomorrow to keep your motivation and energy high,” and “Ten things you would want to tell yourself 10 years ago.” We hold a variety of voluntary study groups, such as generative AI seminars and legal workshops, facilitated by our own in-house specialists, to improve brand value, foster personal growth, and create new collaboration opportunities by sharing our respective strengths.
